Hi there,
If you’ve stumbled across this blog and you’re reading this, then that means either you’ve been diagnosed with Endometriosis or someone you care about has recently been diagnosed or you’ve followed the link on one of my social media accounts (thank you).
Before I delve into the details of what endometriosis is, I thought I should introduce myself.
My name is Lis, I’m 32 at the time of writing this post. I have a beautiful house panther, I’m a beauty addict, my favourite things being red lipstick and red nail polish (the reason for this will become clearer later on).
I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 20. It was actually around three months before my 21st birthday that I got my diagnosis confirmed. It was the worst birthday present ever and I couldn’t return it either.

Just so I’m not another faceless blogger, this is me. Nice to meet you!
Over the last 12 years I’ve been prodded, poked, dosed up with more hormones and painkillers than I care to remember, and at times, I’ve felt like my vagina should be on the Leeds tourist map with the number of doctors who have poked around up there. I’ll tell you more about my story later in this blog but for now, click on to read just what is endometriosis.
Take care,
Lis x
